EASTER (or a Perfect Long Weekend in STL)

Easter weekend in Saint Louis was terrific! Some of the most fun I have had in awhile! Great people, activities, and celebration of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us.
Here's a summary of what we did:
  • A fun, yet packed-full-of-people, visit to the Saint Louis Zoo.
  • Shish kabobs on the grill! Ted Drewes Frozen Custard (in the rain, lol)!
  • Cheap room at Hyatt Regency at the Arch - not so cheap or convenient parking! :P
  • Chris' Pancake House = yummy buckwheat pancakes
  • Easter egg hunts @ Tower Grove Park and St. John's Church
  • U.S. Grant's Historical Site (since Grant's Farm wasn't open for the season yet)
  • Easter service at The Journey - great music and sermon!
  • Babysitting, Burritos, Basketball, and Banter
  • Easter service at St. John's Episcopal Church - great traditional service and baptism!
  • Potluck dinner at St. John's = fabulous desserts
  • Playtime at McDonald Park
  • Chicken fajitas with all the toppings! Easter candy!
  • Interesting and fun convos with Greenville College students (current and former)
  • City Museum!!!

My fave pics from the weekend:
